Waxing
I have 25 years of experience waxing clients at my home in Staines. I use the high-quality Cirepil hot wax, the same quality as Lycon for Hollywood and Brazilian bikini waxing. I use warm strip wax on other areas like the legs.
The Process
Hot wax is better for smaller sensitive areas; for Brazilian & Hollywood waxing, I offer Cirepil hot wax & standard hot wax. Cirepil hot wax is for sensitive clients or those with thick and strong hair growth. The salon system hot wax is for those with fine and less complex hair growth.
When applied to the skin with a spatula, it coats the hair with a thick layer. The heat from the hot wax opens the pores and makes the experience a lot less painful.
For leg, arm, underarm & eyebrow waxing, I use strip wax to remove hairs quickly & efficiently.
I apply a thin layer of strip wax to the skin, a fabric strip is then pressed on the waxed area causing minimum discomfort. Strip wax is excellent for larger areas where you want to remove a lot of hair quickly and efficiently.
Please note
We do not recommend waxing within 24 hours (before or after) of any other heat treatment, e.g. steam, sauna, sunbed, sunbathing, swimming, exercise or self-tanning application.
Bikini wax explained
- Standard Bikini Wax – This is the bare minimum of hair removal. The client would be wearing knickers (not G- String), and we would just wax around the sides.
- Extended Bikini Wax – We recommend the client wear a G-String pair of pants for this wax. This wax includes the sides and some of the underneath.
- Brazilian Bikini Wax – This is everything from front to back & all of the underneath, just leaving a landing strip or triangle at the front.
- Hollywood Bikini Wax – This is absolutely everything from the front to back.
